
Come sign-up for Camp Enviro-Awareness with Waterways Watch Society (WWS)! Organised 4 times a year during school holidays (June and December). Cost per individual is $110 for a 3 days/2 nights camp or $80 for a 2 days/1 night camp or $50 for a day camp. Camp by the beach along Kallang Basin and learn more about our Environment and how to keep it clean and litter free. Have fun with environment games and projects and the opportunity to go up the Singapore River in our boat Patrol. There may even be a chance to do Dragon Boat Racing for beginners.
School Assembly Talks

WWS although preferring to have small groups visit us on-site for a hands-on experience will give School Assembly talks costing $150 per session. Each presentation will usually be for about 20-30minutes. Contents will cover our waterways system and give a fairly good understanding and appreciation of our waters and why each of us must do our part in helping keep our environment litter free.
Youth Bike Patrol

WWS welcomes youth participation in our weekend (Saturday/Sunday) Bike Patrol. On attachment to WWS, youth groups will be involved in a structured programme, learning and sharing our experience so that they are more aware and understand how our waterways system connect, why it is important for us to have sustainable good daily social habits to respect and value our environment. From this program, we hope to influence more youth to join our "Youth Brigade" of environmental bikers. WWS charges $100 for the first session (including orientation), with a maximum of 10 cyclists, and subsequently, $30 per session for a maximum of 10 cyclists.
"River Monster" Program

Sign-up for an afternoon outing at WWS, and learn about our environment and how we can do our part in keeping our waters litter and pollution free. Know and appreciate our waterways and understand better how our drains, canals and rivers are connected to our reservoirs. Listen to our presentation followed by hands-on beach clean-up along the banks of the Marina Reservoir. This program lasts about 2hours. Nominal charge per session is S$150.00 per class size of 40 students.
Water Quality Monitoring program

This program will not only cover a presentation on 'Our Waterways' at our premises (Kallang), but also the option of doing Water monitoring at our Jetty. Testing the river water from our Marina Reservoir using our own water sampler and comparing with other water samples like NeWater, Tap Water, etc. An educational hands-on experience for students that will result in a better appreciation and understanding of our waters and how and why we need to keep our waters clean and healthy.
- Presentation on the reason of proper use of Water Monitoring Equipment at $150 per session for a class size of 30 to 40 students.
- Testing of water samples on the jetty: S$200

Learning Journeys

Marina Reservoir Learning Trail:
Waterways Watch has the following programs that will not only cover a presentation on 'Our Waterways' at our premises (Kallang), but also the option of taking the Hippo Boat for a trip down Singapore River from Kallang, disembarking at the Marina Barrage. A quick guided tour of the Galleries, featuring the history of our waters right up to the PUB's current 3P Partnership. Highly recommended for all students!

2) MacRitchie Learning Trail
This progam will take students through MacRitchie Reservoir, and they will be given a historical and nature tour of place, as well as revealing the water story of Singapore. They will also get to monitor the water quality there, with the kits supplied, to re-inforced the message of being "guardian" of our water and the environment and not be part of the pollution problem. This learning trail wil take about 2 to 2.5 hours and the cost is $15 per student, with workbook supplied.
Corporate Social Responsibility Program
Waterways Watch has a program that covers a presentation on 'Our Waterways' at our premises (Kallang), and also the option of taking the Hippo Boat down the Singapore River from our premises, disembarking at the Marina Barrage. We will give a simple guided tour of the Galleries.
Package Cost: $900 includes:
Half-day CSR program for corporates, and groups

Companies can send their staff down for a half day CSR program with Waterways Watch. A group of 15 will be given an overview of our waterways, especially our Marina Reservoir. The emphasis is on the necessity of taking care of our living environment (land, air and sea). After the presentation, they will go on patrols with our volunteers in our Marina Reservoir area, in boat (max 5) and bikes (10).
The charge for this programme is $320, for on-site presentation, 1 boat and 10 bikes. Additional charges will be levied basing on $100 per boat and $10 per bike. There will be a 20% discount for corporates or companies that subscribe to Friends of Marina (FOM).
WWS also gives off-site presentation at the request of corporates/groups. Our charge for this is $200.
