Speed Limit of 5 knots within Marina Reservoir.
We have to comply with this speed limit whilst driving our vessels in Marina Reservoir.

To guage our speed, we did some testing, and came up with the following guidelines:

DynaGlass:
• 6 persons on board: 2,100 rpm approximately 5 to 6 knots
• 6 persons on board: 2,500 rpm approximately 8 to 9 knots

(Note that lesser people on board, the faster the boat speed, so do watch that RPM gauge.)

5 hp Dinghy:
• 4 persons on board: full throttle approximately 5 to 6 knots
• 2 persons on board: full throttle approximately 12 to 13 knots

As a general rule, do not create waves when driving past canoers, kayakers, dragon boaters, Wakeboarders etc.

You can however accelerate over the 5 knots speed limit when responding to emergencies or when avoiding other vessels or non-motorised users in the Marina.
