  Activity Description
Bike/boat/kayak patrolling Patrolling on one of the 3 kinds of craft in the Marina Reservoir and at times even upstream to help monitor cleanliness of our waterways while at the same time retrieving any litter spotted.
Administrative work Includes standard administrative work and housekeeping duties.
Water testing Around WWS. Members do a powerpoint presentation floowed by hands-on actual water testing on boat, pontoon, bicycle or walking. Water collected using pails or water sampler and tested as part of educational program.
Safety boat services at Marina Reservoir Assist other users in the reservoir during their events or meet operational needs by supplying safety boat services with our members.
Camp master or facilitator at WWS Members organise and help run day and overnight camps for school children during the yea ron the beach next to WWS.
Offsite beach cleanup or water testing Offsite programmes at venues such as Changi Beach, Pasir Ris beach, Sembawang beach, etc… Members organise and manage such programmes for schools/corporates.
River Monster facilitator Doing a powerpoint presentation at WWS followed by supervising students and at times corporates in hands-on litter picking around WWS.
Community In Bloom (CIB) Gardening outside WWS as well as adriving a buggy around Kallang Riverside Park to monitor the cleanliness of the park, etc…
Public relations Giving presentations and sharings or representing WWS at fairs or carnivals or assembly talks at offsite locations.

Rules & Regulations:
1. Do not exceed 5 knots whenever driving the boat within the restricted area.
2. The lookout person must always be vigilant of surrounding waters at all times.

1. We will be proactive and responsible to the waterways.
2. We will respect and uphold all maritime laws.
3. We will work towards building a nation with clean and pollution-free waterways.
4. We will strive to continuously educate all waterways users to be more environment friendly.
 
I declare all the above as correct and if accepted, will diligently fulfill my responsibilities as a member of the WaterWays Watch Society.   WWS reserves the right to reject any application and is not required to disclose the reason for rejection. In consideration of WWS accepting my application, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, release and forever discharge WWS, their servants and persons connected with WWS, of and from any and all rights, claims, demands and actions whatsoever that I may have had for any and all losses, damages or injuries sustained by me or my equipment before, during and after any practices organised by or on behalf of WWS and/or any WWS events.
 
 
 
All applications will be acknowledged within 30 days. Accepted new WWS volunteers will have to attend a 2-day (either on Saturdays and/or Sundays) theory and practical course (FOC) in the routine procedure of what is expected of a WWS patrol volunteer. New WWS volunteers must arrive promptly for their theory and practical course. Only on satisfactory completion of this course will new volunteers be rostered for WWS patrol activities. In addition, members will have to take part in a leadership course within a year.
