River Monster
- Suitable for: Primary school students
Introduced in 2005, River Monster is WWS’ first environmental awareness programme specially developed for students to learn about water conservation issues. This is done through hands-on litter-picking activity along the shores of Marina Reservoir. This unique experiential learning allows students to observe the impacts of litter on our waters. In addition, they can gain insights on how they can contribute to conserving our precious water resources.
River Monster Pre-School
- Suitable for: Pre-schoolers (3 years and above) to lower primary school students
Adapted from our popular River Monster programme, River Monster Junior is an environmental awareness programme tailored to introduce Pre-schoolers (aged 3 years and above) and Lower Primary Students. Through this fun and engaging environmental programme, participants can gain insights on the importance of our water resources, the impacts of water pollution and the significance of waste minimisation. Furthermore, interactive story-telling sessions, hands-on litter-picking and upcycling activities will be conducted to further inspire them to be environmentally aware.
