Making changes in ripples!

Dear Friends,

We are already moving into the second half of the year! Time indeed flies. It was slightly slower moving this week, giving us a much needed breather after a hectic June season! Even though it was the June holidays, we had quite a number of activities and volunteers helping out last month! On Sunday, we held our annual joint foot clean-up with the Thai Embassy. About 35 participants came and we played host to them which ended with a sumptuous thai lunch. Thank you for your support Thai Embassy.

This week also saw some form of normalcy in terms of litter too. There was still quite a bit of rubbish, but most of it were common items. That being said, it was these common items that are the biggest culprits in our waters. They are hard to locate and require a great deal of effort to clean up every single bit. We cannot turn a blind eye as each little bit will slowly add up if we are not careful.

We are also very happy to announce that we are Celebrating SG60 with a ripple of change! This is our Dollar-to-Dollar donation drive this year in partnership with Toteboard. The funds will be used to support groups who lack the budget to participate in our programmes. You can make a donation to us through giving.sg.
