Record breaking!
Dear Friends,
We do this every day, every week for 27 years, yet there are always some things that have never failed to amaze us.
This week, we saw many returning companies for our CSR programmes, each either doing the same fun clean ups or trying out something different and exciting. Even school teachers are encouraging different cohorts each year to come and learn about protecting our water resources! Nonetheless, all of them continue to find their actions and involvement meaningful.
Our society members are also on a record-breaking season, with Punggol hitting 7 members on Wednesday and 13 on Saturday! 🎉Congratulations and good work to our Punggol members! Jurong Lakeside also saw another record with 168 cans collected by only 5 people on the kayaks! Even they themselves were shocked when they laid it all out. How serious must our issues be before anyone takes it seriously?
We don’t have to start big. As one of our regular members said in her interview with us,”Every hand matters! When we show up, we create change together!”
