Year after year, coming and going…
Dear Friends,
This week, our 2 interns, Clarisse and Ashley, who joined us earlier, celebrated their last day with us. They had a meaningful and exciting time with us, learning about our environment, the challenges being faced and how they can help spread the word. They handed over to a new intern Lauren, who will be with us until early Dec. of 2025. With volunteers, we also saw a few having to stop volunteering with us reluctantly as they relocate outside of Singapore, yet we also have others who have relocated to Singapore joining us. Such is the nature of volunteering and regardless of your stay with us, WWS hopes that you have enjoyed your time as you protect our waterways with us. For those who had left and returned, we warmly welcome you back to WWS. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and different backgrounds, and if you are able to contribute outside of our patrols, we would be glad to hear you out!
WWS Members, don’t forget! Our AGM is this coming Sunday, 7 Sep at 2pm. We look forward to meeting you. Our valued partners will be able to view the details of our AGM on our website after that.
