Every small action helps.
Dear Friends,
While there were not many programmes for the week, we were glad to see that those who participated in our programs thoroughly enjoyed themselves and gave us positive feedback. Several of them stated that they found our programmes to be educational and an eye-opening experience. We were also really heartened to see that the participants from Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah and Pacific International Lines (PIL) were really enthusiastic. PIL turned up in close to full force on Saturday, with 36 pax, but were not able to head out due to the weather. We have decided to arrange another programme date for them free-of-charge.
Due to the weather this Friday, we had one programme postponed and we had our volunteer facilitators help us with housekeeping duties instead. A huge thank you to them for helping us to keep our amenities in good condition!
Patrols this week went on as per usual. The exception was Marina’s Saturday patrol, which got cancelled due to the rain, and Punggol’s Wednesday patrol, which got cut short due to the weather.
