Are we a nation of trash?!

Dear Friends,

With only five CSR programmes conducted, a shocking amount of rubbish was collected this week! We are regularly sighting and picking various forms of litter inside and around our fishing zones. The situation does not appear to be improving and it is saddening to see that users of the park and fishing zone are not considerate of others. In addition smoking, unauthorized PMDs and PABs and walking of dogs unleashed are still regularly seen in Kallang Riverside Park and Kampong Bugis.

With the end of Chinese New Year, our members donated their unopened new year snacks to WWS for us to give to the foreign workers that work in our reservoir. We are really grateful for the generosity of our members, the collective effort to share the joy of food and reduce food wastage. This also reminds us that we can each do our part to cut down on food wastage by buying only what we need and can consume. It also shows that sharing is caring for others.
