Celebrate the progress made.

Dear Friends,

Earth Month April has officially begun and we are glad to report that sightings of illegal fishing have decreased and the usual litter hotspots that we encountered during our patrols are slightly cleaner (slightly) compared to previous patrols.

While it is a little saddening to see a decline in engagement with schools and corporations the past month, we are glad to say that the participants who came for their programmes this week left feeling fulfilled and inspired! We sincerely hope that they continue to do their part to make a difference for the environment and we hope to have more schools sign-up for our various programmes for pre-school and students in primary and secondary. Corporate programmes are still showing good interest and support and we hope to have more sustainable partnership and even sponsorship with some of them. This week we also had the privilege to play host to another group (from the public) under the Golden Years Green Planet BNP sponsorship for senior citizens.
