Strong support from our corporate and community organisations.
Dear Friends,
This week we received strong support from our corporate and community organisations. We have seen a corporation take part in their sustainability efforts with their family members, amongst the families their children enjoyed such programmes and the hands on clean-up. This is a win-win-win situation where the participants bond with their families while contributing in preserving our waterway and environment. A total of 6 corporations and 1 school programme were done this week.
We have observed the continual and increasing trend of park users smoking in Kallang Riverside Park (reported previous week) and also in Jurong Lake Garden at the Chinese Garden next to the Pagoda. Our Foot Patrol engaged 4 smokers in Chinese Garden and all complied. We hope the relevant governing agencies will step up the necessary measures to curb such offenders.
