One Singapore

Dear Friends,

National Day is just around the corner, and we had 11 companies and schools coming to do their part for the country for another jam packed back-to-back week. As we share the Singapore Water Story every time, we hope that all our participants don’t simply just treat this as another clean up event because management said so, but will consider changing their lifestyles to protect our resources and our future.

Our members have also been very encouraging and supportive this week. Pang Sua even had an astounding 8 members, that they have to split into 2 groups for the clean up! Well done Aung & team.

We also want to thank our government partners such as NEA, NParks and the Town Councils for their support in keeping the environment clean. Yes, it is their job, but it is also no less our responsibility. Our members this week noticed a big difference around Pang Sua and even Marina on the cleanliness of these areas. We ought to learn to keep it that way now that it has been cleaned and not only do this when there is a National Event.
