Clean and Happy!
Dear Friends,
Here at the Waterways Watch Society, we don’t just protect our waterways and environment. We want to make it meaningful and fun for everyone who is joining our waters! Doing this for almost 28 years, we understand how discouraging it can be seeing the same polluted sight over and over. So we are extremely grateful to all our partners who have given us positive feedback on our programmes and initiatives, and even willing to come back year after year. It is really with your support that we are able to continue to do this everyday with a smile on our faces, knowing that there are people who care and are willing to be part of our mission! This past week in our CSR and patrols, we are happy to see happy faces , new and old faces when they know they are doing a good part for our environment!
When the environment is clean and safe, we can live a happy and healthy life. No one wants to wake up next to a drain or park, with a foul smell, or having to contend with mosquitoes, rats and cockroaches. But it takes effort. Things left alone get dirty, not clean. So if you want to play a meaningful role in the environment and have fun, join WWS today! Members patrol this week managed to pick-up a live fish (jumped onto one of our kayakers), a baby catfish (live) and a loose kite.
