Happy Mid-Autumn Festival.
Dear Friends,
The weather this week was favourable on days where we had programmes and thankfully, there were no cancellations or postponements due to the haze or inclement weather for our programmes over the week. However, a programme on Wednesday afternoon (23 Sep) and our new members’ orientation this month was cut short due to inclement weather. But at least the participants did manage to go out for a while. The number of school programmes are on the decline again as they begin to enter the exam and holiday period.
With the mid-autumn festival in full swing last week, WWS celebrated it by enjoying some mooncakes over lunch.
Members this week did not spot or capture any photos of illegal fishers, however this definitely does not mean that there were no occurrences of illegal fishing. The Pangsua team has once again collected a lot of trash and required two rounds of trash disposal.
