Dear friends,
During this week, we had a total of 7 program- the beginning for 2019. We started off the week with our bicycle learning trail L.O.V.E Punggol at our Punggol office, followed by an OBS camp for secondary students, a Bicycle Cleanup program with Salesforce, a City Excel training program at Punggol office, a Bicycle Cleanup program with Jcdecaux, a Kayak Cleanup program with MINDS and a NEA Networking booth with Fuhua Primary School. This week, we collected a total of 36.5KG (including litter collected during patrols).
This week, we had a total of 52 members assisting in programs including weekdays and weekend (23) patrols at both Marina and Punggol. There were no fishing and anti-littering engagements made this week at both Marina and Punggol. Overall, Kallang Riverside Park was clean. However, litters along the shore and inside the waters in Marina are still a common sight within the parks. On Saturday, we were glad to have Aki San from Japan, who came to join us with our patrol team in Marina during his trip to Singapore. Aki was introduced by our member Yihui stationed in Tokyo.
During this week, we found an abandoned black women’s bag. It was empty.
