Dear friends,

This week, we had a total of 7 programs, all of which were school programs. We kick-start the week with a WWE:PLAY session with students from Anderson Secondary School. We also had an assembly talk session with Anderson Secondary School and another with Damai Secondary School students. We also had an outreach booth at National Junior College. We had a Kayak Clean up program session with Teck Whye Secondary School and a Bicycle Clean up session with NUS students. There was 1 session of OBS camp this week using our office premises. This week, we collected a total of 38.5KG of litter (including litters collected from patrols), where more than 60% of the litter were of plastic origins. Three members attended the LTA AMP Appreciation Event on Saturday and CEO attend the Reception hosted by MEWR (Third Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific). For Safety Boat, we had more than 8 services provided to our partners and I Light Singapore.

We had a total of 49 members supporting in our programs including weekdays and weekend (24) patrols at both Marina and Punggol. This week, we had a boat and bike Sunday patrol in Marina and a weekday patrol in Punggol. There was no patrol on Saturday in Marina due to the CSR Program and Punggol Office only did admin on Sunday. There was 1 fishing engagement made this week at Marina but no fishing engagements were made in Punggol. There was no anti-littering engagement made this week.

On Saturday, our CEO & Founder, Mr Eugene Heng and 2 of our members attended the LTA Appreciation Event on Saturday.

Overall, we were delighted to know that the water was reported to be relatively clean by our patrol member in Marina.
