Dear Friends,

As we approach the last week of February, we had a total of 8 programmes this week where 5 were school programmes and 3 were others. We had 4 Kayak Clean up sessions for students from Anderson Secondary School (1 session), Damai Secondary School (2 sessions) and 1 session of River Monster for Tanjong Katong Secondary School. We also had 2 sessions of L.O.V.E Punggol and 1 joint camp with Better Trail to celebrate World Water Day. On Sunday,  we had our first briefing on World Water Day Carnival that falls on the 31st of March 2019. For the week, in total, we collected 64.06KG of litter.

This week, our patrols were supported by 30 members in Marina and 4 in Punggol. We had bicycle patrol on Saturday and bicycle, pedal-boat and boat patrols on Sunday. There were no anti-littering engagement made this week but there were 7 fishing engagements made. This Sunday, we also had a potluck lunch and a carnival meeting.

Many cough syrup bottles were discovered along Kallang Riverside park. We suspect that the individual could be abusing the drugs in the park at night.

Some of our members sighted many interesting items during out patrols.
