Dear Friends,
OVERVIEW
The week was a short one with 01st. May being a public holiday, we had 5 programmes consisting of 2 schools and 3 corporates. One programme on Saturday, 4th May (CSR: Infineon Company) was postponed because of heavy downpours. The week saw the hiring of our first summer intern Disha who will be with us for the next 3 months. Our second summer intern will be joining later this month. Summary of activities conducted over last two weeks
In summary, the following activities were done for this week:
We conducted 2 CSR and 2 VIA programmes which were attended by 39 participants and 46 participants respectively, and together they collected a total of 142 kg of litter.
A total of 5 members were involved in CSR/VIA programmes and talks; another 48 members turned up for patrols, administration, housekeeping duties and training.
- The total trash collected by patrol groups from members was 67 kg.
- Boat Patrol. A total of 1 Boat patrol was carried out at Marina.
- Bike Patrol. A total of 2 Bike patrols were carried out; 1 at Marina, 1 at Lakeside.

| No patrol. There were three members scheduled for patrol this weekend, lead by Aung who just returned from overseas. Unfortunately, the rain caused this foot patrol to be cancelled. So sorry Aung, Maia and Phyu- sign up for another Saturday please. Welcome back Aung! |
