Are our trash bins just for show?
Dear Friends,
We are glad to say that our programmes have been picking up and our CSR participants have been finding our programmes to be meaningful and fulfilling.
There have been a number of concerned sightings pointed out by our members this week. There were countless straws collected by members this week. Our kayakers also found a mattress under Sir Arthurs’ Bridge and are worried that it might be related to an illegal immigrant in need of help. In addition, they also sighted a red eared slider with a fishing hook stuck in its mouth. Thankfully they were able to remove it. From Pangsua, they noticed a significant amount of cans and glass bottles left under the Bukit Panjang viaduct, as well as a lot of plastic bags and some household items right next to a construction site. The amount of trash that was picked up by our Pang Sua team was really concerning.
We would also like to thank PUB for approving our member, Edward, the authority to certify our pedal boats.
